Welcome Aboard!
The PGIslanders Cruising Club, a member of the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association, is a non-profit organization whose members enjoy cruising the waters of Southwest Florida and beyond. Regardless of what kind of boat you have and how often you want to be out on the water, the PGislanders offer activies for just about anyone. We're proudly involved with the local community for canal cleanups and food drives. For non-aquatic fun we explore new restaurants, throw axes (yes really), play mini-golf at PopStroke, enjoy the ever-popular Dinner For Eight at a member's home, game nights, and just about any diversion our local area has to offer.
We're a fun-loving group, but we're serious when it comes to boating safety and education. Presentations range from dock maintenance, navigating the insurance industry after a hurricane, latest marine tech upgrades, and the hugely popular Bahamas Bound all-day seminar.
We meet at 7pm on the first Thursday of every month at the Punta Gorda Civic Association (2001 Shreve St in Punta Gorda). Our socials are held twice monthly - on the second and fourth Monday - from 4:30 to 6:30pm at the same place. Please join us... it's a great way to meet the PGIslanders and become involved in our club!
