Save the Date for the 2026 Home Tour

The Share the Love for the Kids Home Tour is an annual event in which Punta Gorda homeowners and local builders open their homes for public tours. A fun day for all to view gorgeous new or remodeled homes and to pick up a few design tips or décor ideas to spice up your own place.

The proceeds from the event benefit various children’s charities in our community, providing much-needed resources and support to those who need it the most. Community participation not only contributes to a memorable and successful event, but will bring hope and joy to countless young hearts.

The members of Beyond Ourselves are deeply grateful for the community's support and commitment to our cause. Together, we are making a difference and creating a brighter future for the children of Charlotte County.

About Us

Beyond Ourselves is the community service organization of the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association (PGICA).

We meet on the third Wednesday of the month, September through May, at 10:00 AM at the PGICA building
located at 2001 Shreve Street in Punta Gorda. Visitors are always welcome to attend. Click here to learn

In March 2012, a group of caring residents of Punta Gorda Isles decided to form an organization with their goal:
to serve others in the community. This marked the beginning of Beyond Ourselves.

Our Three Missions:

Mission 1: Helping the children’s charities of Charlotte County

Mission 2: Aiding the homeless of Charlotte County

Mission 3: Protecting the wildlife of Charlotte County

Our two largest annual fundraising events are the Sip & Savor Series and the
Share the Love for the Kids Home Tour. We also coordinate a variety of ongoing activities in an effort to
support our missions.

	Special Announcements
	At our regular meeting on December 17th, Beyond Ourselves members were proud to be able to distribute the funds raised from our fall Sip & Savor events, donating $6,190 to the Peace River Wildlife Center and $6,190 to the Charlotte CARE Center. A huge thank you to all of those who contributed to the success of these events, including our sponsors, donors and all those folks who purchased tickets. We’re proud to be fulfilling two of our club missions, protecting the wildlife and aiding the homeless of Charlotte County.
