The 2007/2008 session is well under way with 24 teams in three leagues.
Play continues through March and is then followed with a summer session from May through August. If you are interested in playing this summer or next year, please contact us to reserve a place.
In this format, each team of two is assigned to one of three leagues. Each team plays the other teams in the league. Typically, a team plays 2 matches a month with each match hosted by one of the teams.
The format is rubber bridge with 20 hands played each match.
Participation is a great way to meet new people, renew old friendships, and have fun playing bridge.

If you want to have fun and meet new friends, join the Canasta Club. The club meets Thursday afternoons at 1:30 in the card room at the PGICA. Haven’t played in and while and feel it a bit rusty? Well, another year of pinochle has come to a close. This year’s big winner are as follows:

High hand: John and Sue Havens, Joe and Irene Feist and Richard and Judy Greene
Club rules state you can’t win in more than one category.
You have to play 50% of your games to qualify for prizes.
We need someone to take over as chairperson of the Couples Pinochle Club for next year. If we do not get a volunteer I am sorry to say the Club will fold after many years. If I do not hear from anyone, the cards will be donated to the Tuesday afternoon Pinochle group at the Civic Center. Please think this over and let me know before the end of July 2008.
