The Commentator will take a break the month of August, but the Gifted Gator will remain open daily from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. except for the last week. We will also be closed July 4.
The Fine Arts and Crafts Fair will be held November 6. Please pick up your applications as soon as possible.
We have wonderful new items, including stained glass pieces coming soon. The talented Stephanie Stewart has provided us gorgeous new knitwear. We have everything from jewelry of formed clay, to metal works, to wire wrapping---Dorothy, we are not in Kansas anymore!
Our monthly snapshot focuses on Sandy Helt, a volunteer, not an artist. These are her words. ” I haven’t found my artistic talent yet, so I signed on as a volunteer. Maybe if I continue to associate with all the beautiful things you Gifted Gator artists and craftsmen produce, some of your creative genes will rub off on me.“ Sandy represents the true spirit and mission of our shop. We are all inspired by creativity.
